OUR STORY
TWO GENERATIONS.
ONE VISION.
A LEGACY
ĀVĀ was founded by mother and daughter, Ziba and Mina, from a shared belief that movement should be something you look forward to — challenging enough to transform the body, but considered enough to become part of how you live.
The name āvā, meaning voice or sound in Persian, is inspired by Manouchehr — husband, father and the constant presence behind so much of who we are.
He has always believed in having your own voice: in saying what you think, expressing who you are and, just as importantly, knowing when your words are worth giving and who is worthy of receiving them. To speak with conviction, but also with thought.
That philosophy has stayed with us. āvā is our expression of it — a space created with intention, where strength and softness can coexist, and where taking care of yourself becomes part of your everyday life.
More than somewhere to exercise, we wanted to create somewhere you belong.
ĀVĀ carries his influence in its name — and we hope, in the way it makes people feel.
